From 01 April 2026, gluten-free bread prescriptions at our practice will only be available for patients under 25 years old who have a confirmed diagnosis of coeliac disease. Patients currently receiving gluten-free prescriptions who are aged 25 or over will no longer be eligible under the updated prescribing guidance.

Vitamin B12 injections will only be provided for patients with a confirmed medical diagnosis requiring long-term treatment, in line with current prescribing guidance.

Patients who do not meet the clinical criteria for NHS treatment will no longer be eligible for B12 injections at the practice, and appointments for B12 injections will not be offered. Over-the-counter vitamin B12 supplements are widely available from supermarkets, pharmacies, and health retailers.

The practice delivers Flu vaccines to eligible patients:

• Those 65 and over
• Those aged 6 months to 65 years in clinical risk groups
• Pregnant woman
• Carers
• Close contact of immunocompromised individuals
• Frontline health and social care staff
• Those in long stay residential care homes
