Nursing Team
Our practice nurses and health care assistants will see you for a wide range of services including health checks, holiday vaccinations, smoking cessation, reviews for people with problems such as asthma & diabetes, smear tests & blood pressure checks plus numerous other things.
When making an appointment with the nurse or health care assistant it is helpful to tell the receptionist the reason for the appointment so you can be booked for an appointment with the appropriate nurse. Also some appointments will require a longer than usual appointment time.
Our nurses are Sister Allyson Robinson, Sister Julie Stokes, Sister Paula Cooksey, Sister Paula Whittaker, Sister Natalie Boyce, HCA Helen O'Neill, and HCA Kathryn Palmer
Reception
Reception Manager
Alison McGahan
Our team of experienced and well-trained support staff is on duty to help you during surgery opening hours. The reception team deals with requests for appointments, home visits and repeat prescriptions. They are there to help you obtain advice and treatment, and any advice they may give is strictly in accordance with guidelines laid down by the GP's and the practice manager
At times the members of the reception team may need to ask you for more information about your illness or condition to ensure you see the right member of the practice team for your treatment.
All of our staff are bound by the same code of conduct as the doctors and nurses at the practice. This means that whatever information you give them is treated in confidence and is not discussed with anyone else except other health professionals involved in your care.
Behind The Scenes
